Welcome to The Creative wellbeing Company

Founder of The Mindful Craft Company with young daughter

Welcome to my brand new website! Just in case you're new around here, I wanted to take some time to introduce myself, and tell you a bit more about what we do at The Creative Wellbeing Company.

Founded by Fiona Lock in 2021, The Creative Wellbeing Company was created to help teams connect and experience the benefits of craft.

With a background in publishing, Fiona used to design craft kits for one of the UKs leading craft magazines. After becoming a first time mum to the beautiful Dorothy, losing her ‘dream’ job, and faced with a global pandemic, it was crafting that helped Fiona find a moment of calm and deal with negative thoughts. Realising the powerful effect that creativity had on her in such a short space of time, Fiona realised that craft could help so many people, and so The Creative Wellbeing Company was born.

At The Creative Wellbeing Company we bring teams together to craft and create messages of positivity, gratitude, values and connection. Our sessions not only allow a time of mindfulness, but connect teams to each other, to their values and to the culture within your business. There are so many amazing mental health benefits that you can get from being creative, read more about that here. All our crafts get your team thinking about a different message and bringing it to life through craft, such as….

  • How connected is your team to the values of your business?

  • How often do your team get together to be creative?

  • What makes your business such a special place to work?

After the craft-along has finished, all of the beautiful crafts can be brought together and made into a craft wall in your office... AMAZING! Your craft wall creates a visual display that your team has created together. Would a wall of gratitude inspire, motivate and make your team feel more connected and valued?

To find out who we’ve worked with before, check out our case studies here. Please do get in touch if you’d like to know more about how we can connect your team through crafts.
